"unknown software exception"
Newly I got a sporadic "The 'exception unknown software' exception (0xc000000d) occurred
in the application at location 0x7813892c" ("Die Ausnahme 'unknown software exception' (0x000000d)
ist in der Anwendung an der Stelle 0x7813892c aufgetreten") when I started Opera, Photoshop or other
applications.
First I thought it was the fault of a Windows update or a newly installed application but after deinstalling
all recently installed applications the error was still there. Then I remembered that I have updated
Microsofts IntelliMouse driver. I used v5.4 before and updated to the latest version 6.1. I deinstalled
the driver and reinstalled the old one and... the exception error was gone. Actually I do not think that
it was really necessary to deinstall the driver completely. I configured a new feature for the left extra
key which allows to get an overview about all open windows. It should be ok not to use this function;
but who cares the old driver works fine ;)
